Earth Day Plant Swap | Coronet Park

Join us for the very first event at Coronet Park: an Earth Day Plant Swap!
Celebrate Earth Day in one of downtown Harrisburg’s newest green spaces with a laid-back, plant-loving evening. Bring a plant cutting (prop) to swap or simply stop by to browse and pick one up. All are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just getting started.
Special feature: Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouse’s “Fern,” a retro mini-bus turned pop-up plant shop, will be on-site with plants and goodies for sale.
Make an evening of it with:
- Mediterranean eats from Traveling J’s
- Fresh craft brews from Zeroday Brewing
- Botanical-inspired, non-alcoholic sips from Agape Elixir Bar (21+ offerings available)
- Live guitar performance by King Denial
This event is free to attend and designed to be relaxed, social, and community-driven — just bring a friend, a plant, or both!
Parking: Free after 5 p.m. in the surrounding areas near Coronet Park.
What is Coronet Park?
Coronet Park is a new downtown green space developed by Harristown Development Co. on S. Second Street near Market Square. The park’s name honors the historic Coronet Restaurant, which once stood on the site before a fire in the early 1990s. After years of planning and changing market conditions, the space is being reimagined as a flexible, community-forward park built specifically for live music and other public events.
